Hello , I am a beginner of ipmitool . Since I want to use ipmiutil on the
Windows , I want to make happen fake (artificial) error on the server which
has BMC on board .
For example , I want to create (fake) events as if power unit or memory or
CPU were broken . I mainly use IBM servers which has IMM2 on board .
I expect I can do it with "ipmiutil cmd" or "icmd" . But I cannot read the
detail as far as I read user's guide .Can anyone teach me how to do it by
showing the command syntax ?

The commands you send are raw IPMI commands which are documented in the
IPMI specification.

Vendors can also implement vendor specific IPMI commands, but these
vendor specific IPMI commands are not generally documented.

Note: You sent your question to ipmitool-devel, but your email talks
