[Ipmitool-devel] Debian Maintainer

Hi,

my name is Jörg Frings-FÌrst and I live in a small village near by
Trier, Germany.

I'm the new debian maintainer for your program "ipmitool". The package
was updated to 1.8.14 and is now in the sponsoring queue.

I have some patches. Can I attach them here or do you prefer the way
through you ticket system?


One request: In your tarball is an outdated debian directory. Thus, the
use of an automated build system is impossible. Please rename it.

Ticket system, please. Mailing list is a /dev/null as far as any
patches go, resp. it's good for code review, but that's it.

We can either update it or drop it completely. I see no point in
renaming it(and let it rot).

Ok. Delete simplifies the work, because the directories are included in
the debian-repros, and so must only to upgrade at one point.
